Licence

The licence refers to legal terms under which a source code is distributed and can be used.

PHP has its own licence, which is Open Source.

Source code, written in PHP, may have a different licence. Common licences are MIT licence, Apache License 2.0, BSD License, GPL, LGPL, Copyleft Licenses.
